In August of 2024 I drew a picture to serve as my profile picture. The drawing features me with short hair and glasses, wearing a collared shirt and tie. If you look closely you can see that my avatar is wearing stud earrings. I no longer wear earrings but I wanted to include them because I thought they added something to the picture, taking me back to my younger years.

I was quite happy with this sketch and I decided to colorize it in GIMP, the GNU Image Manipulation Program. GIMP is open-source and free.
I chose a blue color palette because I felt that the cool color tones conveyed a feeling of modernity and professionalism. I thought the hand-drawn style really expressed my creativity.
